Production Capabilities

Powder Blending
We can formulate multiple components and incorporate liquids onto formulations where required. In addition we can pack the formulated product into various fill sizes down to 1g.

We are able to blend down to batch sizes of 25kg. Raw materials can be received and handled in bulk bags or smaller packs.

Granule and Pellet Processing
We can formulate coated and impregnated granules, and have facilities to produce pellets ranging from 5 to 50g.

Repacking
We can repack from most types of containers. Our flexible filling stations can pack with accuracy into a range of packs down to 1g.

In addition we can organise the safe disposal of any hazardous empty packaging resulting from the repacking operation.

Laboratory Services
As an ISO9000:2000 accredited Company we apply a high level of quality control through meticulous procedures to ensure that all products conform to specification.

Octavius Hunt Ltd has a well equipped Laboratory and pilot plant facility, and is able to work with partners on a range of R&D projects. Our pilot plant will replicate operations carried out on production equipment and provides customers with the facility to carry out development work prior to committing to full-scale production.

We can carry out physical and chemical testing required by Regulatory Bodies, as part of any data package, in our GLP accredited laboratory.

Production Control
Once production is scheduled you can rely on our production management team to control inventories and source materials as required.

Our aim is to operate as an extension of your own organisation and provide you with the information you require.

We will ensure that your work is carried out to a high level of security and confidentiality. As with all products manufactured at Octavius Hunt routine quality checks are carried out by qualified personnel and certificates of analysis or conformity can be supplied.

Warehousing & Distribution
In our dedicated warehouse areas your materials are uniquely identified easily located, segregated and traceable in line with our ISO 9001 system. We can deliver your products direct to you or your customers palletised or packed to special instructions.

With 2 fully qualified Dangerous Goods Advisors on site we can manage all aspects of transportation to Europe and the rest of the world.

Sourcing
Utilising our Quality department, Dangerous Goods Advisors and experienced purchasing staff we can offer the service of sourcing finished goods and raw materials from overseas. We have extensive experience in locating suitable companies, testing and shipping the product providing a complete package. We also offer the option of storing goods on site for call off orders.
